Toronto ON (Sept. 5, 2003) - After a year of touring throughout Canada and the United States contemporary singer/songwriter and guitarist Stephen Fearing returns to Hugh’s Room for a rare and intimate Toronto performance on October 11th in support of his Juno-nominated release, That’s How I Walk.
Since Stephen Fearing’s last Toronto performance That’s How I Walk was released in the US on Rounder Records in the winter of 2003, where it hit the top 30 on the national Americana chart. Fearing also took time out of his extensive touring to record BARK with Colin Linden and Tom Wilson for their Juno award winning folk/roots side project Blackie & the Rodeo Kings, which was met with wide critical acclaim and climbed the Neilson SoundScan sales chart.
Vancouver-based singer/multi-instrumentalist Joel Kroeker will open the show at 8:30 p.m. followed by Stephen Fearing at 9:00 p.m. Tickets $18.00 in advance, $20.00 at door, available at the venue (416) 531-6604 Hugh's Room. Dinner reservations recommended, but not necessary.
